well i can dream, can't i? here's a magic bus by the seashore, palm tree included. i could easily live out of this van for at least a weekend.
the search continues. there is a brown, sixty-some vw a few miles from my house. i've seen an old man drive it around town, but not of late. i'm half the mind to ring his doorbell.
the kids would love it and lisa would end up behind the wheel. i could dig that! camping would be a blast and it would be great for gigs. i could go on and on and on... have i sold you on the idea?

Ahh, such great memories of the late '60s as a teenager in Southern California. EVERYONE that was cool had a VW Van or bug! Thanks for reminding me of great times!
I saw one old school VW van up north in the U.P. of Michigan as well as a Datsun B210 (not yet called Nissan!) A few things missing from the VW van would be: Mystery Machine on the sides and Scooby-Doo and gang! Daphne was the bomb!
